We valued each entity on a standalone basis as well as the group as a whole utilising various methodologies and cross checks. Our work involved an in depth understanding of the intercompany transactions and detailed modelling to allocate an appropriate level of group costs to each entity.

Two of the acquisitions were successful (Aqua Drilling and Grouting and Westrod Engineering) and we project managed the transaction, including due diligence, completion and the integration process.

The valuation was required to assist with negotiations around a deed of termination our client had entered into with the store. We performed scenario analyses on the term of the cash flows adopted for the purpose of our valuation to provide management with a range of valuation outcomes.

We provided acquisition support for L Capital Asia's investment in RM Williams, a fully integrated manufacturer, wholesaler and retailer of apparel and one of Australia’s most iconic brands. We worked closely with our client in forming a view on normalised earnings and assisted in the negotiation process on the completion account mechanism. Our client successfully completed a minority investment in the business.
