Jason has more than two decades of experience helping boards and management teams improve cashflow, strategy, forecasting, operational efficiency, and stakeholder/lender management. With a reputation for advising ASX-listed and privately owned companies, he understands the opportunities and risks executive teams are faced with.

Jason’s specialisation is helping businesses navigate off-plan performance, respond to industry challenges, or simply improve cash flow. He has extensive experience in undertaking business reviews to pinpoint true performance drivers. His insights help management teams re-set strategy and design any required restructuring plans as well as assisting financiers as they consider financial structuring.

Jason has direct experience of the issues facing boards having served as a non-executive director of ASX-listed Boart Longyear, a global mining services business, for over four years.

Jason established the McGrathNicol Cash and Working Capital Centre of Excellence and leads a team of experts that focus on helping businesses improve cash flow by implementing practical and effective procedures to forecast, track, save and generate cash. He has helped Australian organisations, as well as their international subsidiaries in the Middle East, United Kingdom, the Americas, Asia and throughout Europe.

Jason’s sector expertise includes construction and engineering, mining services, infrastructure and he has significant expertise in the retail sector.
