Leanne de Seymour

Leanne is a Chartered Accountant with 25 years business experience specialising in corporate recovery and conducting litigation support investigations. 

Prior to joining McGrathNicol, Leanne practised in the auditing service and litigation support fields in New Zealand and in the United States. During this time, she gained experience in all aspects of corporate advisory and insolvency, whilst specialising in forensic accounting and litigation support work.

Since joining McGrathNicol, Leanne has successfully managed a large number of formal insolvency appointments across a wide range of industries. She has also developed excellent investigative, project management and people skills, through helping clients navigate complex situations.  

Leanne’s experience in litigation support has included investigating complex transactions related to New Zealand’s largest insolvency appointment, resulting in a substantial settlement for creditors. Leanne has also managed a number of high-profile retail insolvencies in New Zealand including Top Shop, Wild Pair, Valleygirl, Andrea Moore, Ziera, Mullbery NZ and Bobux.
