To be eligible to apply for our Programs, you must be studying a business or commerce degree, majoring in accounting, economics or finance.

You must be an Australian or New Zealand Citizen, or Australian Permanent Resident at the time of submitting your application. To be eligible to apply for a role in our Canberra office, you must be an Australian Citizen.

Students in their penultimate year can apply for our Summer Vacation Program and our Graduate Program is open to those in their final year, or those who have graduated within 18 months of the Program commencement date.

Applications for both our Graduate and Summer Vacation Programs open in February of each year.

Graduates and Vacationers have the opportunity to work across all of our service lines to develop a real world commercial skill set and gain exposure across a variety of industries and projects.

Online application

Submit your application online. The application involves answering a few short questions, as well as uploading your CV, cover letter and most recent academic transcript.

Cognitive testing

Eligible candidates will be invited to complete online testing, which involves three short cognitive assessments.

Video interview

Successful candidates will be invited to record a video interview, which requires you to answer two short questions.

Face-to-face interview

Our face-to-face interview stage differs slightly across each of our offices, however it provides you with the opportunity to visit our offices and hear from some of our Partners and employees about the work that we do. The interview component will generally be with a Partner and senior member of our team. This is the final stage of our recruitment process and we aim to make offers within a week of the interview.

We offer full financial and study support for our employees to complete the CA Program, including:

  • Payment of all module fees and textbooks;
  • Access to comprehensive study notes and guides;
  • Attendance at lectures and tutorials, including mock exam days to assist in your preparation;
  • Paid study and exam leave;
  • National study groups as you progress through the program alongside your peers;
  • An assigned CA mentor to support you throughout your studies;
  • Payment of annual CA membership fees; and
  • Generous financial rewards to recognise milestone achievements and completion of the program.

If your degree does not cover the prerequisite subjects necessary to enrol in the CA Program, you may be required to complete a bridging course.  For more information, please visit the CA ANZ website.  Financial and study support are provided to Graduates who need to complete bridging courses.

As a Vacationer or Graduate, you can expect to work on projects across all of our service lines, providing exposure to a variety of our clients, such as banks, law firms and large corporates.

Typical tasks you may be involved in include; assisting in the trading of a business, dealing with various stakeholders, maintaining financial models, managing payments, site visits and attending client networking events.
