Jacob is a Director in McGrathNicol’s Restructuring practice, advising boards, financiers and management teams on complex restructuring, insolvency and advisory matters.
He has over 15 years’ experience across formal and informal restructuring engagements and is frequently engaged in matters involving acute liquidity pressure, complex security arrangements and heightened stakeholder scrutiny.
Prior to joining McGrathNicol, Jacob was a director in a specialist restructuring firm in Sydney and previously held senior roles in insolvency and restructuring practices in both Australia and the United Kingdom.
Jacob works across a broad range of industries, including industrial and manufacturing, property and construction, mining and resources, and retail.
He is recognised for delivering pragmatic, commercial advice in high‑pressure environments, and for effectively preserving and maximising value for stakeholders in planning and executing restructuring engagements.
