Our event, ‘A futuristic perspective on deploying capital’, explored how macro changes and advances in technology over the next five to ten years will impact where capital is deployed. Personalised healthcare, AI, and mass customisation all featured as prominent trends, while the story of Theranos served as a cautionary tale for investors to carry out proper due diligence and investigate 'the hype'.

Moderated by business journalist Tony Boyd, the event featured a keynote presentation by globally recognised futurist, Ross Dawson and a panel of Australian investment experts including Dr Michelle Deaker (Managing Director and Founding Partner, OneVentures) and Todd Barlow (CEO & Managing Director, Washington H.
