Andre van Tonder

Computer science and financial expert assisting clients to maximise business technology.

Andre is a forensic data analyst and leads the Data Analytics team in Sydney. He combines his computer science and financial skills to provide clients with a strong understanding of business technology. Andre draws on his extensive experience to help clients identify key data sources, why data is an important business asset and how it can be analysed effectively.

With McGrathNicol, and previously with a 'Big 4' firm, Andre has worked on internal and advisory, forensics, external audits and consulting engagements across various industries. He has international experience working on large and complex projects in 14 different countries.

Andre specialises in wage underpayment and remediation matters and has experience working on several projects on behalf of the Fair Work Ombudsman (FWO), the Australian Government Solicitor and for leading partners for many of Australia’s top law firms. He also has extensive experience in telecommunications projects, ranging from small to multimillion dollar matters.
