Doug has more than 10 years’ professional experience working in restructuring and turnaround. Prior to joining McGrathNicol in 2018, Doug worked for a ‘Big 4’ accounting firm.
Doug has a broad range of experience in both corporate restructuring and large formal restructuring engagements across a variety of sectors including property and construction, mining, aged care and retail.
Recent engagements include the receivership of a large Western Sydney property developer. This included carrying out a sales strategy and managing the development of a partially completed project. He has also assisted a secured lender of a luxury retail fashion brand, resulting in the successful sale of the business and continued presence of the brand in the local market.
