Janine is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of Forensic experience’ working on a broad range of dispute advisory and forensic investigations assignments in Australia. She has also worked in external and internal audit for a ‘Big 4’ accounting firm in the UK.
Janine has broad experience across a range of sectors including telecommunications, property and construction, energy and natural resources, financial services, healthcare and manufacturing. She is highly skilled in the management of forensic assignments, including the preparation of consulting and independent expert reports in legal proceedings and interaction with key stakeholders such as lawyers, management, regulators and law enforcement.
Janine has been involved in a number of high-profile investigations and assignments. Her experience has included the independent verification to the supporting accounting information of a $1 billion claim in a large construction dispute, working on the matter until the conclusion of the arbitration hearing in Singapore. She also recently acted as an independent accounting expert in a class action matter, providing an opinion on the operation of the Australian Accounting Standards.
