Robyn was a Founding Partner of McGrathNicol, a former partner of a ‘Big 4’ firm, and served as McGrathNicol’s CEO from 2011-2016. Robyn has deep understanding of dispute resolution, forensic investigations, regulatory response, governance, restructuring and corporate insolvency drawn from a long career in a range of roles, including CEO, COO, Registered Liquidator and a Board Member.
Robyn has extensive experience across a range of industries. She has conducted investigations and managed stakeholders including financiers, shareholders, boards, creditors, partners and regulators. She is experienced in delivering enhanced strategic clarity to give stakeholders confidence in the quality of their decisions. Her clients include corporate boards, c-suite, internal and external legal advice for whom she delivers financial, commercial and strategic analysis, including forecasting, loss calculation, asset tracing, and analysis of financial and management accounts.
Of particular note is Robyn’s expertise as an Independent Expert. She has prepared multiple Independent Expert Reports for matters litigated in the Supreme Court of Victoria, Supreme Court of Western Australia and Supreme Court of Queensland. She also acted as consulting partner on a matter arbitrated in the International Court of Arbitration Singapore. Robyn has held formal insolvency appointments in large and small corporates involving trading on, asset sales, business sales, litigation as defendant, litigation as plaintiff, third-party funded litigation, stakeholder management and claims adjudication.
