Sam heads the firm’s Government Forensic Investigations practice in Canberra, leading a specialised team with strong financial and misconduct investigations experience. Sam has extensive experience providing national security and counter foreign interference risk advice, conducting sensitive investigations, providing vulnerability assessments, and providing advice regarding insider risk mitigations.
Sam is highly skilled at understanding and communicating complex security related risk, assisting clients mitigate foreign interference, trusted insider, supplier/supply chain and counterparty risk through the development of appropriate risk management processes. Throughout his career Sam has also built a reputation for delivering solutions to sensitive personnel security issues, collaboratively and with integrity.
Sam has led a range of complex investigations in the areas of counter terrorism, insider threat, counter espionage, and counter foreign interference – across jurisdictions and in partnership with domestic and international law enforcement and intelligence agencies.
