Jason has more than two decades of experience working with clients to help improve operational and financial performance.
Jason has helped boards and management teams improve cashflow, strategy, forecasting, operational efficiency, and stakeholder/lender management. He understands the opportunities and risks boards and management teams are faced with.
As an expert in his field, Jason established the McGrathNicol Cash and Working Capital Centre of Excellence which focuses on helping clients increase cash flow by implementing practical and effective procedures to forecast, track, save and generate cash.
Jason was a non-executive director of ASX listed Boart Longyear, the largest drilling company in the world, from 2017 to 2021. He has helped improve the cashflow of many Australian businesses as well as their international subsidiaries in the Middle East, United Kingdom, the Americas, Asia and throughout Europe. High profile clients include Fairfax, Worley Parsons, Broadspectrum and Leighton.
Jason also has experience in the restructuring industry having undertaken a number of business, forecast and strategy reviews on behalf of individual lenders and lender syndicates. Jason’s sector expertise includes construction and engineering, retail, mining services and infrastructure.
