McGrathNicol appoints new Restructuring and Forensic Partners

McGrathNicol is proud to appoint Heather Matheson and Luke Howman-Giles to its partnership, bringing Partner numbers to 56.

 Commencing her career as a McGrathNicol graduate in 2007, Heather is a highly regarded restructuring and insolvency specialist. Heather brings deep expertise in large voluntary administrations and receiverships, as well as significant experience preparing independent business reviews and providing strategic advice to secured creditors and boards. Her notable recent engagements have included RCR, Melbourne Place, Amscan, Mediacloud and RUC. Previously based in Sydney, Heather will be relocating to the Melbourne office to support the growing Restructuring team.

 Luke is a Forensic accounting expert with more than 20 years of experience in financial investigations and dispute advisory services. Based in Sydney, Luke joins McGrathNicol from KPMG where he was a Partner specialising in financial and regulatory investigations, expert witness roles, economic loss assessments, business valuations, funds tracing, and payroll non-compliance investigations.
