McGrathNicol appoints three new Partners

McGrathNicol is proud to announce the admission of Melissa Smith, Alex Morkos and Mark Wroniak to its partnership, bringing the total number of partners to 55.
Melissa Smith is a highly skilled restructuring and turnaround specialist. Having led a number of complex formal engagements including trading businesses, Melissa has extensive experience in conducting independent business reviews and monitoring projects for both private and public sector clients. Melissa is Brisbane-based and has been with the firm for 18 years.
Alex Morkos is a technology and cyber security specialist with more than 25 years’ experience designing enterprise technology solutions, security engineering, and operations and risk management frameworks. Based in Sydney, Alex’s experience covers both the business and technical sides of cyber across industries including banking, retail and defence.
Also joining the Sydney office, Mark Wroniak is a technology and cyber professional who specialises in the development, management and execution of IT security strategies, advice, architecture, and assessment activities. He has implemented a range of innovative security solutions and strategies for clients across banking and finance, retail, critical infrastructure and government, positioning them as industry leaders in cybersecurity maturity.
Mark and Alex co-founded, built, and sold Aleron, an award-winning cybersecurity multidisciplinary professional services firm that was acquired in 2019.
