Gordon has over 20 years of experience providing strategic and transactional advice to private and public companies along with financial sponsors and institutional investors.

He has worked closely with boards, senior executives and investment professionals executing mergers, acquisitions and divestments, securing equity and debt financing, implementing strategic initiatives such as joint ventures, spin-offs, IPOs and restructurings aimed at maximizing value to shareholder and other stakeholders.

Gordon spent 20 years in the investment banking industry where he focused on advising corporate clients in the energy, industrial, natural resources sectors along with financial sponsors and middle market companies. Gordon’s has assisted boards or their shareholders contemplate a wide variety of transactions to create, defend or illuminate value including business sales, carveout divestments, acquisitions and mergers, many of these transactions often involve financial sponsors pursuing management buyouts, management buyins, leveraged and minority recapitalisations.

Gordon held senior roles in London, Houston, and Sydney and maintains experience in institutional investor and corporate relationships in these markets.

Gordon has advised corporate, financial sponsor and institutional clients on over $40 billion of mergers, acquisitions, divestments, strategic partnerships along with $10 billion of acquisition and growth financing transactions including IPOs, public and private equity and debt offerings and loans.
